About The Event
Also Eden is an established and respected progressive rock band, formed in 2005.
Having released a handful of highly regarded albums and performed extensively at many key events through the years, the band has earned the respect of a growing number of loyal and dedicated admirers around the world.
The band is today focussing on rediscovering the magic from its first two and much-loved albums, 2006’s ‘About time’ and 2009’s ‘It’s kind of you to ask’, which formed the backbone of their live sets at the Summer’s End, Progfarm and Night of the Prog (Loreley) festivals.
The current line up comprises:
Ian Hodson – keyboards
Dave Roeloffs – drums
Simon Rogers – guitars
Huw Lloyd-Jones – lead vocals
Graham Lane – bass
Sadly COMEDY OF ERRORS have had to cancel. The excellent Landmarq have stepped in to replace them
LANDMARQ are a UK-based neo-progressive rock band, whose style also extends into album-oriented rock, melodic rock, hard rock and even a slightly jazz edge.
Vocalist Damian Wilson left the band after three very well received albums to concentrate on his solo career and the band found a replacement in Ian 'Moon' Gould. He spent a year with the band before moving on. It was at this point that Landmarq decided to go for a radical change to their sound and recruited the long-time friend of the band, Tracy Hitchings, former vocalist with Quasar.
A major change of lineup occurred once again in 2018 when, due to changing relocation, vocalist Tracy Hitchings and drummer Danny Martin separately made the difficult decisions to move on from Landmarq. Uwe, Mike and Steve resolved to continue writing new material for a proposed new album and began the search for Tracy’s and Danny’s replacements
Following a series of auditions, the band settled once again back to full strength with the addition of vocalist Wolf Campen and drummer Andy Allen who were thrust straight into some intensive rehearsals for a series of live shows beginning in October 2018. This was followed by various shows and festivals in 2019 through to the present time, (excluding 2020, due to the pandemic). Landmarq are now preparing to play further gigs in 2023 and are also currently writing and recording material for their next album. More details on this in due course.
