About The Event

"When Camel had to cancel their tour so that Andy Latimer could be admitted to hospital I was set the task of providing an entertaining evening for those who have booked hotels for their Southampton shaow.  My first thought was to invite Tiger Moth Tales as Peter Jones, their singer and songwriter is also in Camel. Unfortunately the band is not available but Peter offered his services to do a 'Tiger Moth Tales solo' gig. (He might even slip a Camel tune into his set)

The headliners, Also Eden are one of my favourite current bands with the amazing vocalist Huw Lloyd - Jones singing with them again.  I'm sure they will appeal to Camel fans too !" - Geoff Tucker (Solent Area Prog)

ALSO EDEN

Formed in 2005, Also Eden and have released a handful of highly regarded albums. For this tour, though, the band are focussing on their much-loved first two, 2006’s ‘About time’ and 2009’s ‘It’s kind of you to ask’, both must-haves for fans of Genesis, Yes, Marillion and Porcupine Tree. These two albums – perhaps their most neo-prog in style – formed the backbone of their memorable live sets at the Summer’s End, Progfarm and Night of the Prog (Loreley) festivals.

Also Eden have performed extensively across the UK and Europe and have developed an enviable reputation as an awesome live band. The band will also showcase new material from their forthcoming new album, ‘Open Skies’, due for release in the second half of 2023.

The 2023 line up comprises:

Ian Hodson – keyboards

Guy Monk – drums

Simon Rogers – guitars

Huw Lloyd-Jones – lead vocals

Graham Lane – bass

TIGER MOTH TALES solo (Peter Jones of Camel)

Tiger Moth Tales is essentially the brain child of Nottinghamshire based musician and writer Peter Jones, who has been involved in the music industry performing around the UK and recording his own material since the late 90s.

These days Peter is very much in demand. As well as fronting and writing for the band Tiger Moth tales he can be seen singing and playing many instruments, primarily keyboards for bands including Red Bazar, Cyan and most famously, Camel
