Curved Air

Curved Air’s concerts and festival appearances continue to thrill a steadily increasing mass of new and old fans worldwide. Their experimental blends of classical themes, electronic sounds and pop/rock energy and beautiful, timeless songs are performed with fire, passion and tremendous musicianship.

The band is fronted by Sonja Kristina, its original vocalist, who is joined by Kirby Gregory who played on its Air Cut album and has returned to add his signature guitar sound. Also in the band are keyboards player Robert Norton and bass player Chris Harris. Both have been permanent Curved Air members for over a decade. Now playing with them is drummer Andy Tween. He replaced Florian Pilkington-Miksa who retired from live performances five years ago before his sad passing last year. The latest addition is Polish violinist Grzegorz “Greg” Gadziomski, who became a band member after Paul Sax’s departure in 2019 and has been wowing audiences with his virtuoso playing.

Their current set includes many of the compositions from the acclaimed Air Cut album, their fourth album released in 1973, together with many of their early classic songs from Air Conditioning, Phantasmagoria and Midnight Wire, and from their 2014 album, North Star.
