OZRIC TENTACLES LIVE PA SET
Featuring psychedelic visionary and founder of Ozric Tentacles
Ed Wynne with Silas Neptune
Ed Wynne is undoubtedly a gifted instrumentalist. He is credited as one of the linchpins of the UK festival scene’s re-emergence along with his band Ozric Tentacles, who formed at Stonehenge Free Festival 1983 and became staples of the Glastonbury Festival, with their most recent performance at Glastonbury in 2016 on the Glade stage.
With an incredible flair for creating masterful tapestries of sound, and for having sold over a million records worldwide, Ed Wynne’s debut solo album, Shimmer into Nature (Kscope), will be re-launched with bonus tracks in April 2020.
Shimmer into Nature was recorded and inspired by the different locations Ed Wynne travelled to over three years, from deep in the Colorado Mountains, to the coastlines of Cornwall and South Devon, before being completed on Scotland’s East Coast by the Firth of Forth.
Expect an enthralling performance of Ed Wynne’s solo material and classic Ozrics.
Silas & Saski
Silas & Saski unite in a songful blend of transcendental harmony and innocent beauty, merging musical worlds to form a new super breed of ethereal Space Folk. With a heightened sense of vision, they are climbing to new vistas of awareness through the medium of music.
Silas Neptune is a unique musician known for his role as synth player for the influential psychedelic rock band Ozric Tentacles. His solo album The Scales of Tahuti released in 2017, is a journey through far off dreamscapes and an exploration of the cosmos.
Saskia Maxwell is a singer, guitarist and flautist from another realm. Growing musically through a world of folk, Saski tells secrets and timeless tales with songs that explore the esoteric side of nature and seek truth behind the illusion.
