About The Event
THE FAR MEADOW is a five-piece progressive rock band from London. Now established as one of the premier live progressive acts, TFM has stepped out with the likes of Caravan, Carl Palmer, Curved Air, Focus, Gong, Uriah Heep, and most recently with Soft Machine’s John Etheridge, Solstice and The Enid, at ecological charity event Prog the Forest, Fusion 3.5 and cancer fundraiser Prog For Peart respectively.
With Marguerita Alexandrou's dramatic and distinctive vocals, Eliot Minn's enchanting and captivating keyboards, and Denis Warren's impossibly radiant guitar work, all underpinned by the incredible rhythmic weave supplied by Paul Bringloe and Keith Buckman, TFM forges an astonishing and exciting array of musical textures.
Drawing from latest release Foreign Land (Bad Elephant 2019), the much-vaunted 2016 cd Given The Impossible, and Where Joys Abound (2012), TFM’s explosive live set is peppered with classics, including the sensational epics Travelogue and Foreign Land, while songs such as Sulis Rise, Himalaya Flashmob, Prove It and The Seamless Shirt herald a new and revelatory era.
With a stunning new album on the way, the experience of knockout shows across Europe, plus upcoming appearances countrywide, be sure to catch The Far Meadow at The 1865
BRAM STOKER are a Progressive Rock band located in the South of England. The band was formed in 1969  by Hammond organist Anthony Bronsdon, guitarist Peter Ballam and drummer Rob Haines who then recruited bass guitarist John Bavin, all of whom were based in their south coast home town of Bournemouth, England. They enjoyed a wonderful period of interest in the music industry during the period from 1969 through to 1972, and this is shown in the wake of their original release, Heavy Rock Spectacular, in 1972. The line up, formed in 2016, still featured Anthony Bronsdon along with guitarist Neil Richardson and husband & wife rhythm section, Warren Marks on drums and Jo Marks on bass and vocals who together released the 'No Reflection' album in 2019. The previous line up, responsible for the 'Cold Reading' album included Bronsdon, Tony Lowe on guitar and bass and Will Hack on drums and vocals. The current lineup now includes bass player and vocalist Barry Lines and drummer Stephen Underhill joining Neil and Tony as we head into 2023.
BRAM STOKER were, for me, the biggest most marvellous surprise of the whole festival ...Rosamund Tomlins - The Progressive Aspect
